Cloud gaming via GeForce NOW 50 percent cheaper for a short time

Playing the latest games on a simple laptop or even a smartphone? Cloud gaming services such as GeForce NOW make it possible. If you want to try it out, you can get a 50 percent discount for a short time.

With Nvidia’s cloud gaming service GeForce NOW, gamers can stream games and play them on different devices – without the need for powerful hardware. The computing power is provided by Nvidia servers so that graphically demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur’s Gate 3 or Helldivers can also be played on simple laptops, smartphones, tablets or televisions, provided they meet the system requirements.

GeForce NOW does not have its own game library, but instead accesses compatible games that users own on Steam, Epic, Battle.net or other gaming platforms. If you would like to try this out, now is a good opportunity. Until August 18, Nvidia is giving a 50 percent discount on the cloud gaming service.

Premium or Ultimate

GeForce Now is available in two different subscription levels, with the main difference being the performance. The Ultimate subscription offers 4K resolution and up to 240 FPS, while Priority users have to make do with Full HD and up to 60 FPS. Ultimate subscribers also benefit from longer gaming sessions and exclusive access to RTX 4080 servers.

The Ultimate subscription normally costs $19.99 per month, but is available for $9.99 per month with a 50 percent discount. The cheaper Priority subscription is available for $4.99 instead of $9.99. It should be noted that the discount only applies to the first billing period. The savings are therefore only big with the 6-month subscription, where Ultimate is available for 49.99 instead of $99.99 and Priority for 24.99 instead of $49.99.
