AYANEO releases Retro Power Bank as an affordable power bank
AYANEO has finally released its first power bank. Available for $39.99, the AYANEO Retro Power Bank has a 12,000 mAh battery, two USB Type-C ports and peak 45 W charging capabilities.
AYANEO has finally released its first power bank, some eight months after its initial debut and two months since its last official outing. Since then, the company has introduced the Pocket EVO and has opened pre-orders for the Pocket DMG, another of its long-awaited devices.
As expected, the Retro Power Bank has a 12,000 mAh battery that is equivalent to 45.6 Wh (3.85 V). According to AYANEO’s product page, the power bank can recharge at 45 W through a range of amp and wattage combinations. However, it can only do so via its left-hand USB Type-C port (USBC 1).
By contrast, the Retro Power Bank can deliver up to 45 W of power to a single device connected to either of its USB Type-C ports. With that being said, its dual output drops to 15 W (5V/3A) for one device and 30 W for the other. Thankfully, it is possible to view charging statuses for either device via a built-in OLED display, which measures 0.91-inches across and outputs at 32 x 128 pixels.
For reference, the Retro Power Bank measures 98 x 81 x 21.9~24.4 mm and weighs 238 g. Currently, AYANEO’S first power bank is only available through its e-commerce platform, where it sells for $39.99. Please see AYANEO’S product listing for further details.
