Redmi K70 Ultra Extreme Edition: new leak reveals more details, 3840Hz PWM+DC dimming, 24GB RAM and more
New leaks from a popular Weibo leaker named Digital Chat Station just revealed many details of the Redmi K70 Ultra Extreme Edition ahead of launch. The device will have multiple variants going from a 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM configuration to a 24GB RAM + 1TB configuration.
As revealed in the leak, the cheapest variant of the Redmi K70 Ultra Extreme Edition will have a 12GB + 256GB configuration while the highest and costliest variant will go with a 24GB + 1TB configuration.
The Redmi K70 Ultra Extreme Edition will feature 3 Xiaomi self-developed SoCs — the Surge P2 charging chip, the Surge G1 battery management chip, and the Surge T1 communication chip.
For performance, the device will house a MediaTek Dimensity 9,300+ chipset with a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz (1 prime Cortex-X4 core at 3.4GHz, 3 performance Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85GHz, and 4 efficiency Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz). The Dimensity 9300+ SoC will be supported by the D1 independent graphics chip.
For power, the Redmi K70 Ultra Extreme Edition will come packed with a 5,500mAh battery with a 120W charging speed advertised to go from 0 to 100% in 25 minutes. This device will be announced together with the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip.
The device will have a 6.67-inch 1.5K display with peak refresh rate of 144Hz and 3840Hz PWM+DC dimming. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is $1,250 on Amazon.com as at the time of writing this article.
