The New Color Of The iPhone 16 Pro Could Simply Be ‘Rose’, While Rose Gold Is Out Of The Equation
A new rumor coming straight out of China claims that Apple plans to introduce a brand-new ‘Rose’ color for the iPhone 16 Pro. It is still unclear if it will be the only special color the company will release this year alongside the standard Black and White. While this is not the first time we hear details related to the color, it is highly likely that Apple could go ahead with the aforementioned color option.

The news was shared by the Weibo-based leaker OvO Baby Sauce Ovo, claiming that the iPhone 16 Pro could come in a new color option, which will be very different from the ones introduced in the past. Apple has used strong color options in recent years with a darker hue, at least for the ‘Pro’ models, but this time, it appears that the company is opting for a different route.
However, the source claims that the new color option is simply ‘Rose’ instead of Rose Gold, which the company introduced with the iPhone 6S back in 2015. This means that we could see a major difference between the two colors. We can also speculate that the new color will be closer to red, as it was previously discussed, but the rumor did not catch on as it was never heard about again.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also highlighted the Rose color previously when he listed his anticipations regarding the entire list. The analyst claims that Apple will offer the same color options, which include Black, White, Natural Titanium, and Rose. Kuo dropped the Blue Titanium color option and replaced it with a new one. The Weibo source has also previously mentioned that the new red color option will be part of the mix.
While these are the color options for the iPhone 16 Pro models, we also have speculations from Ming-Chi Kuo regarding the standard lineup. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are rumored to come in white, blue, black, pink, and green. It is unclear at this stage how different the pink color of the standard model will be compared to the Rose color on the iPhone 16 Pro.
We believe that the Rose color of the iPhone 16 Pro will be a darker shade of red, the same intensity of the color as the Blue Titanium.
