7 new games for the Nintendo Switch coming in July
In July, 7 games will be added to the Nintendo eShop – including an AAA game and new releases.
Switch players can look forward to seven new games in July. With Darkest Dungeon II, one AAA title is included this month. All other games are new releases for the Nintendo Switch
The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak – July 5
The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak is a classic RPG and part of the popular The Legend of Heroes series. The plot revolves around political intrigue and social conflict. Players take on the role of Van Arkride – a spriggan, which is a kind of mercenary detective. The game is characterized by a hybrid real-time/turn-based combat system and a variable storyline.
Darkest Dungeon II – July 15
This roguelike role-playing game sends players on a dangerous journey with a group of heroes to prevent an apocalyptic threat. Players navigate through a world of horrors and must manage both the mental and physical well-being of their heroes. Battles are turn-based and require strategic resource management. Every decision can mean the difference between life and death.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate – July 17
Splintered Fate is an action-packed adventure game that players play from the perspective of the famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The story begins with the kidnapping of their mentor Splinter – and the Turtles naturally want to rescue him. To do so, they have to fight their way through various levels, solve puzzles and battle numerous enemies. Players can switch between the Turtles, with each turtle fighter having their own abilities and weapons. The game is played from an isometric top-down perspective with dynamic battles.
Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition – July 18
Nintendo World Championships is a retro tournament game released by Nintendo in 1990 as part of a nationwide video game championship in the USA. It is a collection of challenges from three classic NES games: Super Mario Bros, Rad Racer and Tetris. Players must collect as many points as possible in a given time by completing certain tasks in each of the three games. There are over 150 challenges in total.
SCHiM – July 18
This innovative puzzle platformer puts players in the role of a creature named Schim who travels through shadows. Players must return Schim to its human host by skillfully jumping from shadow to shadow, overcoming various obstacles along the way. This requires not only skill, but also strategic thinking.
The New Denpa Men – July 22
The New Denpa Men is a charming RPG in which players collect and control a group of small, colorful creatures called Denpa Men. The game focuses on turn-based combat and places great emphasis on the exploration and collection aspect. Players must find different Denpa Men with unique abilities, strategically assemble their party and make tactically smart decisions to overcome challenges and defeat enemies.
